altDespite the misfortunes Amber suffered before entering our rescue, she has been the happiest and most optimistic trooper! Amber has been adopted by a herding-dog-saavy young couple, who also have a border collie, Jack.

The two dogs hit it off immediately, romping and playing with each other. Everyday, Amber is getting around better on 3-legs! She is doing great up and down flights of stairs at her new house, but has not yet learned how to shepherd their chickens around the yard. Amber's new people plan to take both her and Jack for runs on the beach, kayaking (with a life vest for her), and camping. We are ecstatic that she is in a home where she will live a full, happy, life!alt

Our mission: To rescue, care for, and rehabilitate unwanted, abused, and neglected dogs of herding breeds, concentrating on Australian Cattle Dogs and Border Collies.

Our focus is on their permanent placement into appropriate, loving homes, and informing the public about the special nature and needs of herding breeds.
