We thank everyone who contacted us about Tassie. She stole the hearts of many with her stunning looks and her story. Tassie, our gentle and very timid girl, was adopted and absolutely adores her new Dad.
She also has a little canine brother, Peanut, who follows her around and cannot do without her. In late May, the three of them drove across country to Ontario, Canada, to spend several months on a relative's farm. We received sightseeing photos of the dogs as they traveled across the U.S. Tassie and Peanut are learning about and enjoying the farm and summer in eastern Canada. Tassie is extremely happy just being with her new Dad, no matter where.
Peanut is a little red cattle dog mix, who was in an emotional meltdown and shutdown state, when we pulled him from the Stockton, CA, shelter. He has slowly come out of his shell and re-joined the living. He now loves life and chasing rabbits on the farm. Peanut depends on Tassie as his security, anchor, and big sister. This is a very close-knit, contented, and now inseparable family of three.
